Isle La Motte

The first island that we came to was Isle La Motte, there was a Saint Anne's Shrine that we thought we wanted to see.....well getting to it was a little difficult because ofroad closures from the recent flooding. We were told that Lake Champlain was at the highest level that it has ever been. We saw a number of flooded areas and the RV park that we are stayingat in Plattsburgh has one area that is flooded and several places down town they are pumping water out with large hoses. These are different pictures of us trying to get to the Shrine and the grounds there.
