6/2/11 - Plattsburgh, NY - 213 miles

Karen fell last night after leaving our motorhome and cut her lip inside/outside pretty bad and bruised her chin. Her glasses didn't break, but cut her nose and had really bad scratches on them. We left headed north and stopped @ a Walmart north of Albany, NY. Karen is having problems with her internet dish and the Walmart's have great big open areas where it is much easier to try to solve problems on the internet dishes. Pat and I did some shopping at Staples, Petsmart, Walmart and another grocery store. By the time we were done shopping Richard & Karen were also ready. We were planning on staying at a campground just north of Schroon Lake so that we could drive 14 miles east in the morning as Pat wanted to see Fort Ticonderoga. The campground told us they had two spots that would hold our size motorhomes.....we should have just left when we saw all the trees and how you had to jocky around to get into sites. Richard tried parking first and got caught on a power line that torn his Fantastic Fan frame....fortunately we hadn't paid before parking so we left the campground and headed to Plattsburgh, NY where we had planned on going tomorrow. When we got parked our internet dish didn't work! The campground had good free Wi-Fi, so we used theirs.
