5/27/11 - Cooperstown, NY - 142 miles
Since it was the Memorial Day weekend we had to stay at a campground about 20 miles from Cooperstown in Oneonta, NY. When we turned to go to the campground Pat saw a sign way up on the hill for the campground and jokingly said "that's where we are going". We go around the turn and sure enough up the hill we head - but the sign wasn't even half way as far up as we needed to go. We have never climbed that steep a hill before in the motorhome. The view was awesome and when the rain, lightning and thunderstorm hit about midnight we were thankful to be up away from the low areas where they were giving all kinds of flood warnings on our weather radio. The show that God put on was pretty awesome to watch.
