Downtown St. John's, Newfoundland

After getting set up in Pippy Park campground we headed to the downtown area. St. John's is North America's oldest city and the St. John's Harbour has served as a safe shelted place after months at sea for explorers, fishing fleets, adventurers and even pirates for more than 500 years. It is known for it's seafaring history, and St. John's is still a busy seaport city and the busiest fishing port in the province.
