Random Passage

This movie site was constructed in 2000 for the filming of the international TV mini-series "Random Passage". The film is based on two novels written by a Newfoundland author. The fictional books are based on what life was like for those who left their native homes & settled here in a typical fishing outpost in the early 1800s. The site includes various sod roof houses, church, schoolroom, fishing stage & fish flakes etc.
