8/14/11 - Bonavista - 71 miles

Since we couldn't get into the campground yesterday we had to back track about 10 miles and take The Discovery Trail route up the Bonavista Peninsula. We ran into some really heavy fog on the way up. This was a small campground (about 22 sites) but the owner, Chris, was very friendly and told us that as soon as we got set up he would come over and sit down with us and give us literature and information on the area. There was no office here....just his home. He had us sit at the picnic table when he explained everything to us.....a really nice guy....but very talkative!
