We were able to get to within about six feet of the puffins....they were really inquisitive. We felt this was another once in a lifetime experience. Karen and Richard went back the next day and none of them flew over towards them. They were probably only going to be here another week or so. I asked where they go in the winter and was told that they fly out to sea and spend the winter in the sea! God has created so many wonderful creatures for us to enjoy and this was definitely one of them.
