The Acadian Isles & Miscou

After getting set up in the campground we headed off to see Caraquet and drove up to the "end of the road" at Miscou Island. These boats were in Caraquet harbor....there was a big fishing processing facility there and lots of fishing boats. We had never seen this orange life boat before....they are designed for 5-7 people and all the fishing boats had them on board. We decided that if we are going to see any activity with the fishing boats we are going to have to get down to the docks early.
