As we got close to North Cape we saw a lot of wind turbines...they are from the Energy Institute of Canada and the North Cape Wind Farm. The rooms that go on at the top are huge. This facility has been a leader in wind energy research and development for more than 25 years. The North Cape is the most northwestern tip of PEI. It is famous for having the longest natural rock reef in North America and the meeting of the waters.....the sunsets would have been spectacular from here!
