Halifax Public Gardens

This garden is an example of a formal Victorian garden in the heart of a modern city. In 1874 Halifax assumed responsibility for the original garden. The gates were brought over from Scotland. It was really pretty walking through the winding pathways and seeing the formal Victorian flowerbeds.
