6/29/11 - Charlottetown

Pat woke up this morning with a cold. One of the things I wanted to do here was go to the musical play of Anne of Green Gables and guess what.....the tickets are for tonight! We decided to stay home all day and then drive down to Charlottetown (25 miles) and meet Richard & Karen and hopefully Pat could enjoy the play a little bit. It was a very well done musical....as good as Broadway....and we all enjoyed it. There is so much stuff about this fictional character "Anne" and the author Lucy Maud Montgomery everywhere....it really has brought tourism here. Afterwards we grabbed some fries and a drink and headed back home.
