When we got back to Digby we drove around a little and then went and tried Digby scallops....which they are famous for. Richard, Pat and I tried them and they were delicious. The tide was out.....so all the boats are way down from the dock.....weren't sure what these traps were for, but we hadn't seen this kind before....maybe for catching the scallops???? This channel was also the way the ferry boat goes to New Brunswick. We had to dry clear around the bay to get back to our campground in Annapolis Royal....the water certainly dictates the roads you have to drive to get to your destination.
