7/19/11 - The Ovens Natural Park

We checked with the campground to see if we could stay another night....but someone had reserved our site and we need to be out by noon or shortly after. So we left early this morning so that we could go to The Ovens....ran out of time yesterday. We had about 30 miles to go and we ran into a very heavy rainstorm so didn't know if we would get to do this or not...we would have been drenched as heavy as it was raining. When we got there they hadn't had any rain.....so off Pat, Richard and I were on the trail along the cliffs to view the sea caves, or "Ovens," for which the park was named.
