Wrangell-St. Elias National Park is the largest US National Park, it equals six Yellowstones! We stopped at the Visitor Center and looking at the relief map of the park it is HUGE! Most travelers do not enter the park as there are only a couple of roads and most of that is gravel. The major peaks that we saw were Blackburn, Sanford, Drum and Wrangell. We talked about taking one of the gravel roads back in 60 miles but not sure if we will.....we'll decide that after we head back from Valdez.
