8/8/07 - Anchorage to Palmer - 63 miles

We fueled up for $2.69 a gallon at Fred Meyers before leaving Anchorage.....this will be a lot cheaper than what we will be paying down the road. When we left Anchorage it really felt like we are on our way home....kinda hate to see this trip end....but we are missing all the family too. We are going to stop overnight in Palmer so we can drive the Hatcher Pass Road. Boy was it ever a rough road, but once again some beautiful scenery.
