Rigging Loft - 1855
Known by regulars as the "rigging loft" the attic storage of the shed was used to store fishing gear during the winter months. The ground floor was used for salting and packing the codfish. Outside there was a steam box and it was used in boat building. Pat was given a demonstration and helped in making a rope....actually it was a pretty simple process.
