SS Atlantic Heritage Park
We headed along the shore towards Halifax and came upon another memorial. There was a park here and monument commemorating the worst single-vessel marine disaster to occur off the Canadian coast prior to the sinking of the Titanic. The vessel ran right into the rocks on this shoreline. Remains of 277 victims are interred in the park.
