Boat parade

Part of the entertainment in the afternoon was two of the guys we had heard at the Ceilidh on Monday in Brackley Beach. There was a boat parade with lots of boats participating....they went out the North Rustico Harbor into the bay, turned around and came back in. We talked to one of the guys on one of the boats and were asking him about the lobster fishing...their season had just ended on June 30th and they have to pull in all their traps until the next lobster season opens up and pay for another license at that time. He said just himself and his parents operated the boat he was on.
