6/10/10 - Whitefish Point USCG Lifeboat Station

Established in 1923, the United States Coast Guard Lifeboat Station at Whitefish Point reflects a time when highly trained and dedicated surfmen often risked their lives to render assistance to those in peril along Lake Superior's Shipwreck Coast.
