5/24/10 - Painting Process

Below are before and after pictures of our new paint job. We can't say enough good things about Mike's Custom Painting in Bremen, IN that did the paint job. The owner, front office and all the employees went out of their way to do anything that we wanted and they all really cared about detail and making sure they could do the best job possible. They had told us it would take two weeks for them to have the motorhome (we had to be out of the motor home that whole time) --- and they had it done in 11 days! Pat got to be involved in the whole process as he was filming the whole time and then we stayed in Bremen another 5 days for him to edit and finish a marketing video for them.
At the campground the morning we took the motor home in to be painted.
After all the decals and sanding was done.
After sanding... the whole RV was painted with a "Blue Ink" process that after being sanded again would show up any areas that needed to be filled or repaired.
Finished project!
Notice.....they even painted our ladder for us! We had a yellow ladder and it sure wasn't going to look good against this new paint job! Mike's wife had told me that he would paint anything.......so we asked Mike if he could paint the ladder and just like everything else.....they said "no problem". The ladder sitting all by itself baking in the 50' paint bay did look a little funny!
Driver side view with our Jeep that doesn't match at all.
