Point Amour Lighthouse
This was a really pretty lighthouse and is the tallest in Atlantic Canada. It was built from quarried limestone and took four years to complete. It is still a major navigational aid in the Strait of Belle Isle which is between Newfoundland and Labrador. We had a guided tour and climbed the 128 steps to the top of the tower and had a beautiful view. Bet my legs will be feeling this one tomorrow!
