We spent the night in Oroville, WA in a grocery store campground with an orchard right behind us. We had never seen apples growing staked to poles like this before.

As I said a few days ago, when in Rome etc.
Our phones don't work in your country either. At least your dollar is still worth a little more than ours. We who have grown up with miles don't like kilometres either. We've had to learn to cope. I still and always will think in miles. Some times the powers that be just go ahead and do things we don't like or want. I'm sure you've noticed that in your country as well. We don't like our gas prices any better than you do, as I said, at least your dollar will buy a bit more than ours..
Perhaps you should think twice before coming again. We're proud Canadians and these kind of comments about our country hurt. We visit the US often and I would never write these type of comments for all the world to read, even when we do find things different and a bit annoying at times. There are times in life when you simply cope.
Hope you found something about Canada to like. Please think twice before returning. Cope or stay home but please quit complaining.
