The Chicken Post Office was built in 1903 along with the mining camp. Barb was going to do our first US mail from Chicken, ....but the mail only goes out twice a week (by plane) and the next time would have been Wednesday, July 4th and since it's a holiday it wouldn't have gone out for a week....so we will wait until we get to Tok to mail out.
