7/12/07 - 3rd Day in Denali

The interior of Denali National Park and Preserve is accessed by a 90-mile road. Beyond Savage River Bridge (mile 15) the road is closed to private vehicles except those with a special permit. We rode the green school bus to the Fish Creek turn-around (mile 64) which took 8 hours. We did see wildlife but it was pretty far away.
