7/10/07 - Fairbanks to Denali National Park - 121 miles

We got diesel and propane in Fairbanks before leaving, as we may be dry camping in the Denali Park area. Once we got our sites at Riverside RV we headed to the Wilderness Access Center to see if we could get into Teklanika Campground inside the park....but there was no availability until on 7/15....so we will stay put where we are at. We then went to the Visitor's Center and had no more than walked in the door and we spotted Bev Marten and Brian & Kathy McDaniels from First Baptist Church....talk about a small world! Marcie Gilliam and the twins were also in the visitor center....I'm kicking myself that I didn't get a picture of all of them. We knew they were in Alaska...but what are our chances of running into each other. We had not finished talking to them when the couple from Mesa stopped and talked to us.
