7/25/11 - Red Sands South Shore Drive

Once we hit PEI the wild lupins were blooming all along the roadways and they were gorgeous. This boat was one of many that we would see out of water and in the yards....never really figured out why so many old boats were parked in yards. The last group of flowers are wild phlox...we planted some of these in Thayne last summer and I got some seed to plant some more of both the phlox and lupin. The pictures really don't show how vivid the colors were...but at least you'll get an idea.
