Reversing Falls around Pembroke, Maine
This area was definetly off the beaten path. It was a beautiful and very peaceful area. When we walked down to the river's edge there was a couple there that asked us how we had found it....Richard and Karen actually were the ones that did. It is a very calm river at high tide but as the tide goes back out to sea you begin to see the falls. We watched harbor seals playing in the water here and Karen and I could have sat here for hours just taking in God's beauty, watching eagles, seals and the enjoying the stillness of the area with no one else around.
