Hopewell Cape

After getting set up in the Ponderosa Pines Campground that was on a pretty little lake (but lots of mosquitos) we were off to see the area. We saw this covered bridge on the way to Mary's Point Bird Sanctuary to see sandpipers. We were told that there used to be millions of them here during the summer but the last three years larger birds are keeping them away and we didn't see any. Then it was on to the lighthouse at Cape Enrage....we got there just before they closed and there was a fee to walk out to the lighthouse so we passed, it was a really pretty setting. On the way back we saw this fox and a beautiful sunset.
