We stopped at The Knotty Shop on the way to Fairbanks....they had a beautiful Alaskan wildlife display and unusual burl designs on the grounds. If you took in your "Milepost" you got a free ice cream cone....so that is what we did at 10:00 AM....a little early in the day for ice cream....but what the heck....it was free! The floral display was decorated very patriotic.
