The Top of the World Highway connects Dawson City, Yukon to Tok, Alaska traveling the popular Klondike Loop. The highway (dirt road) meanders along mountain ridges above tree line in a lot of areas and you really feel like you are driving on top of the world! We didn't feel like the road was as scary or difficult as we had heard....but it was really rough and dirty, just like a washboard in a number of places. It was really noisy in the motor home with everything rattling. The dogs have been really good little travelers....but Addie did not like this road at all.....she thought she needed to be on my lap the whole time while Cody was snoozing on the floor between us! We are glad we did this road...... but wouldn't do it again!
