Some of the houses along the Chena River were gorgeous....the tour leader said the average price of an acre lot is between $80,000-$100,000.00 and the cost to build this type of home is around $185.00 a sq. ft.......we were surprised it was that low. Note the float plane not the usual boat that you see parked by the water. The airport here has a pond for the float planes to land at.

There are a few pools up here too!
