We got on the trolley at the State House area which was stop #8 (there were 21 stops where you could get off over a 21 mile route). From there we went across the Charles River and through the M.I.T, Cambridge and Harvard University areas, we could have gotten off and taken another leg of the trolley and spent several hours here but decided we wanted to spend our time at the historical areas. It was back across the river and to the Beacon Street area where the Cheers Bar & Grill is.
