6/15/09 - 6/22/09 - Back to Renee's

We left St. Louis in a horrible rain storm this morning headed for Kansas City and another visit with Renee and her family. Once we got back to Lake Jacomo Campground in Lee's Summit we had problems getting our internet dish working. We ended up moving to Blue Springs Campground and still had our internet problem. In troubleshooting with MotoSat they asked if we had been where it was raining and it was determined that so much water had gotten into the transmitter that it shorted it out....so Pat was up on the roof with a hair dryer...drying everything out and finally got us back on the internet. Mike and the KC Royals treated us to another special night at the ballpark. This time they were playing the AZ Diamondbacks and we had first row seats just a little right of home plate so everytime the D-Backs were up to bat we got our pictures on TV back to Arizona. We also had another night of horrible thunderstorms and tornades in the area!
