Beaverlodge, AB - The beaver is Canada's national animal and this sculpture was created by covering an internal metal frame with foam and urethane that stands 15' tall by 28' long and weights 3000 pounds. As we were getting ready to leave a couple driving through the parking lot stopped to talk to us....the gentlemen said the beaver was "his pet project". It was his idea and he had gone around Alberta raising funds for the construction of the beaver...he gave us beaver pins and stickers.
