6/18/07 - Toad River to Liard Hot Springs - 73 miles

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIM!! We reluctantly left Toad River this morning....it was such a beautiful campsite! It was raining lightly when we left and we had a heavy cloud cover. We had a real short drive day to Liard Hot Springs. After getting camp set up it started to rain again but Pat, Dan & Jenny headed for the hot springs pools anyway. About an hour later they were joined by Barb, Richard, Karen and Joe...Hannah kept guard on all our things. We didn't get any pictures...we were in the water, so I will get some from Karen or Jenny and add them to a later blog.
