6/22/07 - 2nd Day in Whitehorse, Yukon
Whitehorse is the capital of the Yukon and is known as the "Wilderness City" of Canada. It is nestled on the banks of the famous Yukon River and is surrounded by mountains and lakes. The population of the Yukon is 32,000 and over 23,000 of that number live in Whitehorse. There is lots to do and see in Whitehorse and they have plenty of shopping and restaurants.
