FDR Home

FDR National Historic Site....birthplace, home and final resting place. There was extensive work underway for the first major preservation of the Roosevelt Home, other buildings and landscapes since it opened to the public in 1946. It will take about three years to complete the restoration process. We were unable to access the 2nd floor of the residence and couldn't get good pictures of other buildings because of the construction in progress. Also no pictures were allowed inside the home.
